Lifeframe Studio

Terms of Service

The simple business terms under which Lifeframe Studio delivers memorial tribute videos to funeral homes.

Last updated: 2026-05-19

1. What this agreement is

These Terms govern Lifeframe Studio's ("we," "us") production and delivery of memorial tribute videos to funeral homes ("you," "your"). By submitting photographs and biographical information to us, you agree to these Terms on behalf of your funeral home.

2. What we provide

Per delivered job: a memorial tribute video produced from photographs and biographical text you supply, delivered via a private link and downloadable file. The primary deliverable is a service-length 6–8 minute MP4 in 16:9 horizontal (1920×1080 at 24fps), sized for service-room display. Every job also ships with a 60–90 second 9:16 vertical sharing companion (1080×1920 at 24fps) built from the same photo set, included free. Length, music preset, and aspect-ratio defaults are selected at intake.

3. Pricing and payment

  • Memorial tribute video: $99 per video, wholesale to funeral home. Includes both the service-length horizontal render and the vertical sharing companion.
  • Revisions: One revision pass is included free within 48 hours of delivery. Additional revisions after that window or beyond a single pass may be quoted separately at our discretion.
  • No platform fee. No subscription. No contract minimum.
  • Payment is due upon delivery via the Stripe payment link we send. We accept all major US credit cards via Stripe.

4. Free first sample

For new customers, we offer one free first sample. There is no obligation to continue. If you and the family are satisfied, the next video is $99. If not, no payment is due and we delete the file.

5. Refund and deletion guarantee

If the family is not satisfied with the final video, we refund the full amount paid for that video and delete the file from our systems. You must communicate this dissatisfaction within 14 days of delivery. We do not require an explanation, but we appreciate one — it helps us improve the product.

6. What you grant us, and what we don't claim

You grant Lifeframe Studio a limited license to process the photographs and biographical text you supply solely for the purpose of producing the requested video. We do not claim any ownership of the photographs, the biographical text, or the finished video. The video belongs to you and the family — render it, edit it, share it, host it, display it. Sell physical copies to the family if you do that. The only thing we ask: don't represent the video as having been produced by someone other than Lifeframe Studio.

7. What we will not produce

These are hard product-scope limits, not negotiation points.

  • No voice cloning. We will not generate, animate, or synthesize the deceased's voice under any circumstance.
  • No invented expressions. Motion is limited to soft breath and held warmth. We will not animate a smile, gesture, or expression that was not in the source photograph.
  • No conversational AI of the deceased. We will not produce chatbots, avatars, or interactive experiences using the deceased's identity.
  • No content that violates state or federal digital-replica laws (including Tennessee's ELVIS Act, New York's Digital Replica Law, and the federal NO FAKES Act when enacted).

8. Family consent

You represent and warrant that you have appropriate authorization from the family (or the deceased's estate) to share their photographs and biographical information with Lifeframe Studio for the purpose of producing a memorial tribute video. We do not contact the family directly to verify; we rely on your representation.

9. Confidentiality and data handling

We handle customer-supplied materials per our Privacy Policy. In summary: not shared with third parties, not used for AI training, deleted 30 days after delivery (or sooner on request).

10. Service availability

We target 24-hour delivery from receipt of complete intake materials. We do not guarantee delivery within any specific window. If a render is delayed beyond 72 hours from intake, we will notify you proactively and offer to refund any payment made for that job.

11. Limitation of liability

Lifeframe Studio's total liability for any claim related to a delivered video is limited to the amount paid for that video. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. We are not liable for losses arising from your funeral home's relationship with the family, including any markup you charge the family above our wholesale rate.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Lifeframe Studio against any claim by a family member or other third party arising from the use of photographs or biographical information you supplied to us, where such use was within the scope of these Terms.

13. Termination

Either party may terminate this relationship at any time, for any reason, by emailing the other. There is no notice period. Unpaid invoices for delivered videos remain due. We will complete any in-progress render or refund the payment.

14. Disputes

Any dispute will be governed by the laws of the State of [HOME-STATE — to set at LLC formation], and we both consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in [COUNTY], [HOME-STATE]. Before filing a claim, we both agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute by good-faith email communication.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms with 30 days' email notice to active customers. The updated Terms apply to videos commissioned after the effective date. Already-delivered videos remain governed by the Terms in effect at the time of delivery.
